Business Challenge

Co-founded by Rachael Rapinoe, and backed by her global football star Megan Rapinoe, MENDI launched as a start-up in 2019 with inclusion at its core. Its proprietary blended & all-natural CBD products are designed to be used by top athletes, every athletes & weekend warriors of all ages to help them recover better & stay on top of their game longer.

As it launched itself onto the market, MENDI first needed help shoring up their Brand Foundation; as a new start-up it continues to seek help on its way to becoming one of Oregon’s most successful startups.

Deliverables

Three key areas of strategic input were required:

  1. A sharp consumer definition

  2. A clear Mission, Vision and Positioning, underpinned by strong Values.

  3. Advisory work around a new membership program

Having invested in MENDI as an angel investor through my role at Oregon Sports Angels, I helped run a number of strategic workshops to land their Brand foundation, and stayed closely involved with them thereafter.
